Welcome to St Colman's Church

Church Auction

The church Auction was held on Friday 2nd September. This was a very successful event with over £2400 being raised. St Colmans was delighted with the turnout of goods for Auction and numbers attending.

Parish Supper

On Sunday 11th October the church looked beautiful full of fruits and vegetables to celebrate the harvest.

We had a full house with everyone staying for a lovely lunch which was very much enjoyed by all.

Evening with Ballyclare Male Choir

The choir performed on Saturday 16th November 2013, it was a superb evening with Sarah Minford singing stunning pieces from West End Musicals. A lovely supper was offered afterwards making an excellent end to the evening.

Through the years the Ballyclare Male Choir has become well known throughout the British Isles and Ireland where they obtained many accolades as a result of performances on radio, television and the concert platform. There have also been numerous successes at Festivals throughout the United Kingdom. The choir's repertoire of secular and sacred music is in much demand at concerts and church services throughout the province and further afield.

St Colman's wish to thank Ballyclare Male Choir and Sarah Minford for a wonderful evening and wish them every success in the future.

40th Anniversary Concert

The 10th December 2011 was both the 40th Anniversary of the 1st church building on the site and also the 30th anniversary of the present building.

There has been a Christian presence in this area since the 6th Century and St. Colman's church continues to work today in this part of Carrickfergus to make known the love of God following the example of Jesus, the one who gave his life for the salvation of all.
